Bonjour mes amis!!! I have returned to the US of A. Some of the highlights of my trip to Quebec City & Montreal were most definitely the food. I generally love bistro style fair anyways, so to be in a place where that’s the norm, I was a happy girl. So here we go- the photo journal of my trip in food: (Up next will be the baking class Mom & I took on our way back in Vermont!)
Then probably one of my favorite stops on the trip- Fondue!! We did the 3 course fondue- cheese, meat, then chocolate for dessert. YUM!
Now onto the meat course…
Also, the placement, if you didn’t notice was quite interesting. It was a cheese map of Switzerland.
In between there was plenty of delicious food, a croque monsieur, a fabulous veal marsala and one of the best bruschettas I’ve ever had. But the last noteworthy meal was at Osco at the Intercontinental Hotel in Montreal.
The restaurant had a really funky decor, had phenomenal bread & dipping oil. Though, for the price the entrees were a bit sub-par. My Mom’s dish was overcooked, and mine was over spiced.
And finally, on our road trip back to Boston, the penultimate pit stop…
