Last week I came across this. Holy sandwich batman. I love a good hearty sandwich. And I love Ree. As much as I fancy myself a city girl, I love the country and the wide open spaces. (Thank you Dixie Chicks.) Every now & then when reading a new post from the Pioneer Woman herself, I think, “Ok, I could do that. I could move to the country, marry a cowboy, and live the ranch life.” What’s that song? Save a horse, ride a….? Oh, nevermind.
Back to the sandwich.
I was inspired and thought I would whip myself up a gigantic sandwich for Sunday afternoon. Well, as you may have read in my last post, I got a little distracted and the sandwich never came to fruition. I had all the ingredients, but had dinner plans, so what’s a girl to do? Why, have it for lunch! I packed up all the fixin’s and come lunch time I had an assembly line on my desk. I didn’t follow the recipe, but the basic premise, below is the photo-journal of the process, it began at home and ended in my tummy. 🙂
Now, off to work. This was an aggressive lunch. Photo credits: cube-mate Julie, sandwich assembly supervised by Matt.
I ate the whole thing. Then I was in a gignormous sandwich coma for the remainder of the day. There’s another fun sandwich on the way! xoxo, AT
